Club Chill Volleyball tryouts set for Sunday at Family First

Club Chill Volleyball will host tryouts for ages 12-18 on Sunday at Family First. Tryouts for 12-14-year-olds are 1-3 p.m., and 15-18-year-olds will follow from 4-6 p.m. Cost for the tryout is $15. For more information, contact Michael Parker at 504-3141 or

Club Chill Volleyball, in its 8th year operates out of Family First Sports Park in Erie Pa. With over 125 players involved in 2013 our program offerings continue to grow. Programs offered are Mini-Volleyball, Little Chillers, Travel teams, private lessons, summer camps and Adult League for 2014. Age range is 5 years to adult.

Our 2014 Coaches and Staff consist of Owner and Director Michael Parker, Secretary Brenda Tombaugh, Jessica Wilson, Sarah Vick, Veronica Crosby, Dan Beer, Karly Burns, Brittany Tombaugh, Lauren Kenny, Hannah Tombaugh, Erin Burns, Sarah Wegrzyn, Camille Alvarez, Haley Adams, Kelly Vitt and Sam Giardina

Club Chill is a licensed club participating in the Ohio Valley Region. The OVR is the largest of 24 regions in USA Volleyball. We offer travel teams in the 10-18 year old age groups who participate in the Regional, American and National divisions. The teams will compete in single day and multi-day tournaments in Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Indiana, New York and Washington, D.C.

Chill Volleyball consists of players from over 20 public and private high schools and middle schools within a two hour radius. All practices are on Tuesday, Thursday and Sundays from November - June. Each group has team oriented and individual skill practices for 2 hours each day. Our primary focus is to teach our players the fundamental skills with a strong emphasis on competitiveness, accountability and a love for the game.
